I have recovered from my corset disaster last week.  And this time it's much prettier. ;)

Here you can see my basting lines.  Really the stitches should be smaller and there should be more lines of basting to keep the fabric from shifting, but I was in a hurry.  I definitely fought the shifting layers because I rushed.  :)

Here is the whole thing laid out after I stitched the channels.  The actual color isn't nearly as bubble gum pink.  It's really a magenta/gold cross dye that comes out a salmon color.  There will be a seam up the front and the lacing will be in the back.

Yeah the edges are zigzagged. Just so the silk doesn't unravel too much before I put the binding on.
